Our Core Commitment
StreetAlpha will never sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for any commercial purpose. Your data is used solely to operate the platform and provide services to you. That is the whole policy in one sentence — the rest is the detail.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a functioning, personalized service.

  • Account information — your email address and a hashed password when you register.
  • Subscription data — your plan tier and billing status, processed through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or payment details on our servers.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features accessed, and general interaction patterns, used to improve the platform and diagnose issues.
  • Communication — any messages you send to support or feedback channels.
  • Push subscriptions (optional) — when you enable push notifications on the AI Pro plan, your browser provides a push endpoint and encryption keys that allow us to send you trade alerts. These contain no personally identifiable information and can be revoked at any time.

If you enable push notifications on the AI Pro plan, your browser registers a push subscription with us. We do not collect your name, physical address, or any financial account information beyond what Stripe requires to process a subscription.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

  • Create and maintain your StreetAlpha account
  • Deliver the features and dashboards you have subscribed to
  • Communicate with you by email — see Section 03 for details
  • Send trade alerts (push and email) if you have opted into the AI Pro alert service
  • Respond to support inquiries
  • Diagnose bugs and improve platform performance

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, target you with third-party offers, or run behavioral analytics for any purpose outside of operating StreetAlpha.

Email Communications

StreetAlpha sends email to your registered address for the following purposes:

  • Transactional emails — account verification, password reset, security notices, and other communications required to operate your account. These are not optional. If you do not wish to receive them, you must close your account.
  • Subscription receipts and billing notices — sent automatically when you subscribe, change plans, are charged, fail a payment, or cancel. Some of these are sent directly by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
  • Trade alerts — sent only to AI Pro subscribers who have explicitly enabled email alerts for one or more AI Auto Pilot personas in their account settings. You can disable these at any time by toggling the email switches on the Alert Preferences section of your account.
  • Service updates — occasional emails about meaningful platform changes, new features, planned downtime, or material updates to these terms or our Privacy Policy. Sent infrequently.

We do not send promotional or marketing emails for third-party products. All email originates from noreply@streetalpha.app or support@streetalpha.app. Email delivery is provided by Resend on our behalf under a standard commercial agreement.

What We Will Never Do

This is an unconditional commitment, not subject to carve-outs or future policy changes without explicit notice.

Sell your personal data to any third party
Share your email or account details with advertisers or data brokers
Rent your contact information to marketing lists
Allow third parties to track you across the platform for their own purposes
Use your trading behavior or activity for external profiling

Third-Party Services

StreetAlpha uses a small number of trusted infrastructure providers to operate the platform. These providers process data strictly on our behalf and under our instructions — they are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Traffic may pass through Cloudflare's edge network.
  • Anthropic — AI model inference powering the Alpha Bots trading personas. Queries are processed per Anthropic's data handling policies and are not used to train their models under our commercial agreement.
  • Browser push services — when you enable push notifications, your alerts are delivered via your browser vendor's standard push service (e.g. Google FCM for Chrome, Mozilla autopush for Firefox, Apple Push Notification Service for Safari). Encrypted notification payloads pass through these services and can only be decrypted by your own device. We do not control these services and they operate under their own privacy policies.

No other third parties receive your personal information.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as billing history).

Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's platform with enterprise-grade security controls. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately and change your password.

Cookies

StreetAlpha uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics tools that phone home to external services. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond what is strictly necessary to run the site.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 14 days.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
